Oliver Pawle is Chairman of Korn Ferry Board Services Practice, focusing on chairman, non-executive and executive board appointments. He also serves as a Senior Client Partner in the Firm's London office.
Oliver has advised on board recruitment for many major companies, including GSK, Cobham, Amadeus, Weir Group, Prudential, the Royal Bank of Scotland and the Bank of England.
Prior to his current position, he was Vice Chairman of the investment banking division of UBS. In that role, he acted as a corporate broking advisor to many FTSE companies.
Previously, Oliver worked for UBS Phillips & Drew, becoming a Managing Director in 1992 and Head of corporate broking in 1993. He joined County Nat West in 1980 and was responsible for developing their investment banking business in Hong Kong, Singapore and Japan.
Oliver began his career at PricewaterhouseCoopers, moving into corporate finance with Barings in London and New York.
Oliver is a member of the advisory boards of Delancey Real Estate and Reform, a think tank involved in the reform of the public sector. He is also the Non-Executive Global Chairman of FTI Strategic Communications, a leading global consulting company. He is on the National Theatre Development Council and is the founder and Chair of Trustees of the New Entrepreneurs Foundation.
Oliver is a qualified ACA and an economics graduate.
